Bhumi Satish Pednekkar recently marked a deeply personal and memorable chapter in her journey with a visit to the Assam Regimental Centre in Meghalaya. The actress spent three days at the training facility, interacting closely with members of the Indian Armed Forces and gaining first-hand insight into the lives of soldiers who serve the nation. And I felt there couldn’t be a more apt place for me to wear all her medals.”
The actress also penned a detailed note reflecting on her time at the centre and the inspiration she drew from the soldiers she met. “There couldn’t have been a better moment than this to wear my mother’s medals she won during her time in the @nccindiaofficial , @sumitrapednekar you are my hero. I spent 3 days in the Assam Regimental Centre in Meghalaya. This is where our brave Agniveers are trained. Their courage and service to the country has left me deeply inspired. My salute to all our officers, jawans and every member of our armed forces,” she wrote.
