Kangana Ranaut, Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Esha Dey, director Manoj Tapadia, and producers Jayantilal Gada and Shailesh R Singh attended the launch of the trailer of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata at a multiplex in Mumbai. At the event, Kangana revealed that John Abraham has a special connection with the film.
Kangana Ranaut first thanked the film’s ace casting director, “We have to thank Mukesh Chhabra. He has been instrumental in launching so many people. He auditions several actors and is easily accessible. I get several messages, but you can’t open every message. He reached out to me and insisted 10 times (to sign Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata). He said, ‘Aap ek baar yeh story sunn lijiye’. So, a big thank you to him.”
This is when Jayantilal Gada whispered to Kangana, requesting her to thank John Abraham. Accordingly, Kangana added, “Another person that Jayantibhai ji has nicely reminded me to thank. When I was offered the film, it was called Nurses Of Cama. Lekin jab humne iski story suni, humein laga ki Bharat ki spirit ko darshati hai. So, we wanted Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata as the title.”
She continued, “This is when we learned that the title was not available and that John sir held the rights to it. I called him. I was told that often people don’t give away a title so easily. However, within a day, he gave me permission to use the title without charging a single penny. Hence, we are grateful to John sir also.”
Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata releases in cinemas on June 12.
