Fans were left surprised during a recent Bollywood Hungama Hangout event with the cast of Merry Christmas. The Hangout, an intimate interaction session with fans, saw Sethupathi engage in a candid conversation with fans. During the same, Sethupathi acknowledged the talent and professionalism of his co-star Katrina Kaif, however, it was when the discussion shifted to another co-star that sparks truly flew.

And it was none other than the child actor in the film. It all happened when one of the fans asked the critically acclaimed actor to share his most memorable memory from the sets of Merry Christmas. While mentioning that he has a lot of memories, Vijay asserted, “There is one scene where I am telling a story to a kid, which I loved the most.”

He continued lauding the kid and said, “The great actor in the film is that kid. She is always surprising us and then there is a teddy bear in the film. I think this teddy is alive.”

As Vijay started explaining his take, he told fans that he loves “toys” and feels that they also have a “life.” He said, “Teddy is a very interesting character but it’s surprising when we are happy, the teddy looks happy. When we are serious, it looks serious.” In addition, Katrina also agreed with him and added, “It’s my favourite scene too.”

For the unversed, Merry Christmas is an adaptation of a novel. The film is shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. It will be released on January 12. Besides, Kaif and Sethupathi, the film also stars Radhika Apte.
