Arshad Warsi, Meher Vij, director Abhishek Saxena and Producer Arbaaz Khan, Manish Mishra and others attended the trailer launch of their film Bandaa Singh Chaudhary at a multiplex in Mumbai. As expected, the highlight of the event was the hilarious replies given by Arshad Warsi to the questions asked by the media.

Arshad Warsi was asked about his intense avatar in Bandaa Singh Chaudhary and that it’s rare to see him in such a role. Arshad replied, “Koi deta nahin hai aisa role. I don’t know why filmmakers do that. I am such a good actor!” He then raised a lot of laughs as he joked, “Main woh buffet table ke saamne khada hoon jahaan ab sirf ek hi dish padi hai!”

Arshad continued, “Honestly, this role is not as serious as you think. It’s a mazedaar film. There’s a lot of humour in it and at one point, the story takes a serious turn. A film which was more serious than this one was Sehar (2005).”

At another point, a cameraman known to ask witty and funny questions asked Arshad Warsi, “Kitne prakaar ki dish aapke table pe honi chahiye?” This was obviously a follow-up question to his buffet comment.

Arshad Warsi straight away replied, “Aapne journalist chhod ke catering chalu kar di hai?”!

The talented actor was also asked about how he deals with trolls. He explained, “Woh jo chahte hai, woh karte hai. We can’t do anything about it. So, it's fine. Hum apna kaam karte hai. Woh apna kaam karte hai. Sab apna apna kaam kar rahe hai. Khush rehne do!”

When asked if he gets affected by it, Arshad Warsi answered, “Everything that is negative affects a positive person. But you have to fight it and go ahead. That’s where the courage comes in the picture.” The actor was recently at the receiving end of trolls when he mentioned in an interview that Prabhas looked like a ‘joker’ in Kalki 2898 AD.

Bandaa Singh Chaudhary releases in cinemas on October 25.
