The 39-year-old artist became the first music personality to be specially invited by the Government of India to visit the architecturally stunning new Parliament House in New Delhi. This invitation signifies a significant moment, recognizing Badshah's immense contribution to Indian music and his influence on pop culture.

Badshah shares, “I am incredibly grateful and honoured to have got a chance to visit the new Parliament building. It is a celebration of India's diverse cultural tapestry and heritage and also reflects the spirit of our people and our democracy. It is a sight to behold as it also showcases our country's artisans and brilliant craftsmanship. This is the New India! Jai Hind.”

During his visit to the magnificent new Parliament House, designed by the acclaimed architect Bimal Patel, he had the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the architectural marvel's splendour and cultural significance. He received a detailed tour, including the Sangeet Gallery, a space dedicated to showcasing the rich tapestry of Indian dance, song, and musical traditions.

Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence in May 2023, the new Parliament House is a sprawling architectural marvel, covering a vast area of 65,000 square centimeters. While Badshah is the first musician to receive this exclusive invitation, several prominent film personalities like Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kangana Ranaut have also had the privilege of touring this architectural wonder.

On the professional front, Badshah is gearing up for a monumental global tour across Southeast Asia, the USA, Europe, and Canada. This ambitious tour comes in support of his acclaimed third studio album, Ek Tha Raja.
