In a recent interview with Lallantop, Badshah opened up about his inspiration, collaborations, and his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and family.

The artist revealed that his stage name, Badshah, was inspired by the legendary Shah Rukh Khan. He admired Khan's charisma, influence, and the title "Badshah of Bollywood." The name resonated with Badshah, reflecting his ambition to establish himself as a dominant figure in the music scene. He said, “I have been a fan of Shah Rukh Khan for a long time. He is fondly called the Badshah of Bollywood. His branding was Badshah (King) like. At that time, his film Badshaah had also released. I thought Badshah would be a good name.”

Badshah expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan's wisdom and guidance. He shared that the superstar's words had a profound impact on him. Their collaboration on Zero provided an opportunity for Badshah to work closely with Khan and learn from his experience. He revealed, “He had called me to make a song for Zero movie. Before that, I met him was when he was with Salman Khan. There was an award show and they were hanging out together backstage. That was the first time I met them for the first time. Then, Shah Rukh sir called me to Mannat to make a song for Zero. That is when I spoke to him to the most. I heard him, his words, his wisdom. I met Aryan Khan also. Now, Aryan is a good friend of mine.”

He described Shah Rukh Khan as someone thinks openly, is humble, and self-aware. Beyond his musical association with Shah Rukh Khan, Badshah has also forged a strong friendship with Aryan Khan. He described Aryan as an open-minded, humble, and self-aware individual. Their friendship has extended beyond personal connections, as Badshah has been involved in Aryan's upcoming web series Stardom. While he couldn't disclose specific details about the project, Badshah confirmed having a role in it. He said, “Aryan is making a web series. I don’t if I can disclose it or he wants to, yet, but I have a small role in it.
