Reacting to the post several Irrfan Khan fans dropped their love and prayer in the comments section. A user commented, “I love the fact that when you address any monetary item either car or house you make sure to tell your audience that it’s not your and belongs to your mom/ dad. This shows the gratitude and realisation you carry within. May you get all that you deserve,” while another wrote, “Memories.”

When questioned about how Babil hoped to advance his career, he told ETimes, “I am not planning at all. I want to explore. So planning and exploring can’t happen at the same time. I think I want to explore, I want to take life as it comes and I want to do everything - I want to do masala commercial films, explore that as well and do it well. I want to give my entire being to a character and do slice-of-life drama. I want to try, and explore every kind of genre in films.”

Irrfan Khan passed away in April 2020 following his battle with cancer. The actor was last seen in Angrezi Medium. In an emotional message in March 2018, the late actor shared the news of his cancer diagnosis and that he was getting treated in the UK. While he was getting treated, his older son Babil Khan was studying at the University of Westminster in London, England.

On the work front, Babil Khan made his debut in Anvita Dutt's Qala, which also starred Triptii Dimri. He will next be seen in the web series, The Railway Men based on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. He is also teaming up with Shoojit Sircar and producer Ronnie Lahiri for their next project.
