As the world observes World Cancer Day today, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media to share a tribute to his wife Tahira Kashyap, a breast cancer survivor who has fearlessly shared her journey of resilience and triumph over the disease.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ayushmann Khurrana poured out his admiration for Tahira, showcasing their journey together through a carousel of photos and videos. The series began with a mirror selfie of the couple, followed by a post-surgery picture of Tahira. The subsequent images and videos captured Tahira proudly sporting a t-shirt emblazoned with the words, “F*#k cancer!”

In the caption accompanying the post, Ayushmann also wished her good luck for her performance at the Spoken Fest. He wrote, “The girl I pulled by having samosa and chai at hut number 14 in Panjab University. All the best for your debut at the @spokenfest today. In love with your heart and spirit @tahirakashyap #WorldCancerDay.”

Veteran actress Sonali Bendre, herself a survivor of cancer, expressed solidarity with red heart emojis. Diana Penty, Kiku Sharda, Ali Fazal and numerous other celebs followed suit, offering words of encouragement and admiration for Tahira's courage and resilience.

For the unversed, Ayushmann and Tahira, who tied the knot in November 2008 after years of courtship, are proud parents to two children. The couple often graces Instagram with heartwarming posts.

On the professional front, the 39-year-old actor was last seen in the successful film Dream Girl 2, co-starring Ananya Panday. The movie received positive reviews and performed well at the box office. He has a bunch of exciting projects in the pipeline, including an untitled Sourav Ganguly biopic.
