Ayushmann Khurrana shares his ‘excitement’ as he gears up to perform in Dehradun for the first time : Bollywood News

Ayushmann Khurrana, who was last seen in An Action Hero, is all set to focus on his singer-performer side right now. The actor-singer, who has delivered several hit songs like 'Paani Da Rang', is set to enthral audiences in Dehradun on May 13. This Saturday show will also be his maiden concert in the North Indian city.

Sharing his excitement about his upcoming concert and about performing in Dehradun, Ayushmann Khurrana said, “I am really excited about my first concert in Dehradun! I love to entertain people through my films and my music because these mediums allow me to connect with people directly and hopefully leave a lasting impression on them.” He continued, “As a singer, there is no greater joy or validation than seeing people enjoy my music. Like cinema, music too cuts across boundaries and geographies."

Ayushmann also expressed his gratitude as he gained success even as a singer in the country. “I have been lucky to perform at so many cities in India and globally. I can’t wait for tonight and I hope my audiences have a good time," he concluded.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who started his career as a Roadies contestant and later a VJ, made his debut as an actor and singer with Vicky Donor in 2012. On the film front, he is currently gearing up for Dream Girl 2, which features him in the role of Karamveer Singh, a jobless youth, who takes up the job at a call centre, and gets success after impersonating the voice of a woman named Pooja. The film is a sequel to the 2019 drama which featured Nushrratt Bharuccha in lead role. The upcoming 2023 comedy will have Ananya Panday playing the lead role.
