Diwali 2022 is around the corner and the pre-celebrations are already hitting the B-town. Kicking off early festivities was Ayushmann Khurrana who hosted a party on Sunday, October 16. The actor and his wife Tahira Kashyap Khurrana played the host as several big names were in attendance. Kartik Aaryan, who has had a great year with the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, was also seen at the party.

Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram account to share a hilarious video with Kartik Aaryan. In the video, the Doctor G actor said that Kartik won a lot of money at the Diwali party as the latter flaunted a bundle of cash. Ayushmann said, “Yeh aadmi box office pe hi nahi, yaha Diwali party mein bhi itne paise jeet gaya hai.”

Taapsee Pannu, Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kriti Sanon, Sanya Malhotra, Ananya Panday, Richa Chadha, and Ali Fazal, Kartik Aaryan, among others attended the Diwali party.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G released in the theaters on October 14. The movie digs into its interesting genre of medical campus comedy-drama that talks about a refreshing and meaningful content, about the life of a male Gynaecologist surrounded by a department full of women, while subtly breaking stereotypes. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the film is written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh, and Anubhuti Kashyap.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan will headline the upcoming film Aashiqui 3. The casting for the leading lady is underway. Apart from that, the actor will also be seen in Freddy with Alaya F, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Shehzada with Kriti Sanon, Captain India, and Kabir Khan's untitled next.
