While all our Bollywood actors are at home due to the lock-down, actor Jackie Shroff is away from his family, stuck in his second home located between Mumbai and Pune. He was there when the lock-down was announced, and was not able to return home.
Speaking to a leading daily, Jackie emphasised on the importance of the lock-down and said that people should abide by the instructions when they are being asked to stay at home. He added that India has a population of over 100 crores, and any act of stupidity right now would be very disappointing.
As he and his driver continue to cook the home-grown vegetable at the house's backyard, the actor is also lending hands to a number of causes. He has been contributing in providing meals for the daily wage labourers who have mostly lost out on their jobs and daily income and are forced to migrate back to their home states. He also provides food for the stray animals and is trying to come in aid of thalassemia patients who need mandatory blood transfusion twice a month.
