Although Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's wedding may have been a private event, the actress is now sharing all the specifics of her close-knit celebrations with her admirers and they are not less than any fairy-tale. Athiya looks dreamy as she performs the ceremonies.

The actress adhered to custom and carried out each of the south Indian bride's rites. The stunning woman donned a pink and gold saree for the ceremony, accessorising with substantial jewellery. One of the several images posted online featured mother Mana Shetty carrying out the ceremonies and blessing the bride. A number of her girlfriends were at her side, including Krishna Shroff, who was spotted giving the newlywed bride flowers. Athiya even managed to sneak in a stunning picture of herself lying on her husband KL Rahul's lap with him encircling her.

Industry friends and fans poured their love in the comments section as soon as the actress dropped pictures on her official Instagram account. Reacting to the post, actress Ileana D'Cruz commented, “Ahhhh pretty girl”, while KL Rahul dropped a black heart. A fan commented, “The prettiest bride,” “Gorgeous Girl,” wrote another.

The couple shared a glimpse of their joyous haldi ceremony with their fans on Friday. Ritu Kumar's stunning ivory-hued cotton anarkali outfit with gotta patti work was Athiya's selection for her haldi ceremony. With an oversize maang teeka, she maintained a simple aesthetic. KL Rahul donned a stylish kurta in contrast.

On January 23, the couple exchanged vows at Suniel Shetty, Athiya's father’s property in Khandala. The reception for the pair would take place after the IPL season, Suniel stated after the ceremony.
