ATEEZ make seductive comeback with sensuous and compelling ‘Deja Vu’ music video

South Korean powerhouse performers ATEEZ don’t have one bad song in their discography. And once again, the group is back with another banger. ATEEZ dropped the title track ‘Deja Vu’ for their newest album Zero: Fever Part. 3. The members Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho always make sure to serve what is called a masterpiece. The album dropped on September 13 with accompanying music video. As seen in the song, ATEEZ members are rising up the temperature while setting the standards of being “4th Generation Leaders” while going from Pirate Kings to Tokyo Drift Racer.

The music video begins with the members standing on the rooftop of the building with thundering and smoke covering the background. The whole setup and their street style outfits along with the members’ powerful expressions are a sight for sore eyes. Set in what seems like car junkyard set, the dark music video spotlights thundering and flickering lights turning up the whole setup dark, powerful and bold. The members dancing in the rain surely adds the seductive and sensuous feels to the video. While Jongho is looking like the cool nerd hacker guy with the badass teammates, Mingi’s sleeveless outfit with Yeosang’s visuals look unreal in a crop top. On the other hand, Hongjoong’s rapping voices with Mingi’s whispering adlibs fits with each other so well, making sure to make your day. The bridge and chorus of the song can’t be missed. The setup then switches to the Fast and Furious concept themed background’ with all members moving towards the cars – Seonghwa with ponytail in the particular scene is to watch out for while Jongho with a choker around his neck is just the cherry on top. Though the music video and song as a whole is a power anthem, realizing only one ATEEZ member can actually drive sure make its irony on the way. The members then dance in car junkyard with lighting hitting the ground. However, Yungho’s smooth hip movements at the center surely grab attention.

Talking about the ATEEZ universe storylines, the fans (ATINY) finally seems happy for Yeosang to be saved from being him in the box. Though the comeback is always very much anticipated, San’s part when he says, “I know you get Deja Vu” didn’t miss to give the chills. Moving towards the end of the MV, members are once again seen on the spot from where they began. The finale is marked when a member turns around the sand clock but it breaks while a hand is seen approaching the other.

Deja Vu presents a slower, rolling trap-synth/R&B blend. Written and produced by ATEEZ’s longtime collaborators EDEN and Ollounder with lyrics from members Hongjoong and Mingi, the track outlines an obsessive yet familiar love, “I go insane/ The moment we met each other’s eyes/ I couldn’t stop/ I feel an endless thirst/ Know you get Deja Vu.”

With this album, ATEEZ broke its own record of album preorder, currently numbered at 810k which looks like it will soon reach a million milestone.
