Arshad Warsi speaks on being replaced by Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in Bigg Boss and Jolly LLB 2 2 : Bollywood News

Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has responded to queries about losing out on two successful roles, the host of Bigg Boss and the lead character in Jolly LLB 2. Both projects proved to be successful, but Warsi did not return to either role. In a recent interview, Warsi, who is currently bagging praises for his web-show Asur 2, shared his thoughts on not returning to the above-mentioned project.

In a conversation with Amar Ujala, Warsi asserted, “Now Jolly LLB 3 is in the making and you will see Akshay teaming up with me in the film. This was the original plan - I'd feature in the first film, and he'll do the second. As for Bigg Boss, I could not do the next season as I had gone to London for a shoot.”

He further added, “But I do believe Salman Khan is the best shot the show could have. No one could have done that job better than Salman. The reality show needs a ‘Dabangg’ like Salman.”

He also recalled working on Hulchal and shared, “To tell you the truth, I did not enjoy working on Hulchul. It is a weird coincidence. Acting is my profession and I have to do it. But, personally, I was not too happy with the film. I just did my job and walked away. At times, a few things in life end up being not good.”

Speaking of his latest release, Asur 2, it is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. Besides him, the web show also stars Anupriya Goenka, Ridhi Dogra, and Barun Sobti, among others.
