Yet again, the relationship between Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora has been creating buzz with gossip mills claiming that the couple is expecting their first child. In fact, some went on to add that they announced it among close friends when they were vacationing recently. However, putting an end to all these rumours, Arjun Kapoor reacted to these gossips doing the rounds by talking about how the scrutiny of their private life is a byproduct of fame and even asked the media to fact-check before reporting such statements.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Arjun Kapoor reacted to the way he and Malaika Arora are dragged into such gossips by saying, ““Negativity is easier to do.” He continued, “I think it gets people to pay attention because that’s been building for a while. Listen, we are actors, our personal life is not always very private. There is a certain amount that exists and you have to be okay with it already joining the profession.”

He further requested the media to report responsibly and sensibly adding, “There might be that element that remains but I think we rely on you all to reach the audience. We need you all to be at least cognizant of the fact that we are human beings. So, check with us once in a while if you’re going to write something that is very very important. At least do that much and I think that was all that I did. It was more about that it should be checked; it should not be assumed. You should not put something that can be life-altering out there.”

In the past, Arjun Kapoor has also boldly dealt with many trolls and has responded to them after his relationship with Malaika Arora came under the radar for their 11-year age gap.

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been in a relationship for over the past four years. Before Arjun, Malaika Arora was married to Arbaaz Khan and has a 16-year-old son with the actor-filmmaker. The couple parted ways in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.
