Arijit Singh refused to sing “Aar Kobe,” an anthem for the Kolkata rape case protests after a fan asked him for the same at his UK concert. Currently in the UK for a series of concerts, the singer addressed the fan in a video from one of his recent shows, explaining that the concert was not the appropriate setting for the song and suggested the fan join the protests in Kolkata instead.

He soon went into performance mode and began singing ‘Ramta Jogi’ from Taal.
Arijit Singh has been touring internationally for some time. Recently, a video emerged from his concert where a fan placed food on stage while he was performing the title track of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Upon noticing this, Arijit picked up the food and handed it to his security team.
He apologized to the fan, explaining that he cannot allow food on stage because he considers it a sacred space. He said, “I am sorry, this is my temple. You can’t put food here.”
Arijit Singh also featured internationally renowned singer Ed Sheeran on his show, where they performed Sheeran’s hit song ‘Perfect’ together. While videos from the concert became widely circulated, Arijit also posted photos from the event and expressed his gratitude to Ed for participating.
