Archana Puran Singh, known for The Great Indian Kapil Show, has recently ventured into vlogging. Through her vlogs, she offers her fans glimpses of her moments with family. In a recent video, Archana and her husband, Parmeet Sethi, shared their personal highs and lows. She also revealed how much she earned from her first acting gig in the same clip.
Archana Puran Singh opened up about her early struggles, recalling how she arrived in Mumbai from Dehradun with just one suitcase. She shared that she had used a fake letter from a friend to arrange her stay. “I had taken a fake letter from a friend and sought help to stay there. So early morning after breakfast I had to leave because they thought I used to work. So, I used to go out and go for auditions,” she revealed.
Archana Puran Singh also reminisced about her first job as a junior artist, where she worked alongside Om Puri in an advertisement. She recalled earning just Rs 100, but it filled her with immense joy. “My first job was where Om Puri was doing an ad film and I was a junior artist in that while he was the hero. I had earned Rs 100 for that job and I was dancing on the streets of Tardeo in full joy. That cheque had made me so happy,” she shared.
After a few years, Archana Puran Singh worked on a film where Om Puri was the hero, and she played the heroine. However, the film was unfortunately called off and never released.
On the work front, Archana has been a prominent judge on The Great Indian Kapil Show since 2019, when she replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu. She has been a beloved fixture on the show ever since, entertaining fans with her humor and wit.
On the work front, Archana Puran Singh is married to actor Parmeet Sethi, and the couple is proud parents of two sons, Aryamann and Ayushmaan. The family often shares heartwarming moments with their fans, showcasing their close-knit bond.
