Arbaaz-Sajid-Wajid score a hat-trick with Dolly Ki Doli : Bollywood News

Arbaaz Khan and Sajid-Wajid have scored a hat trick. After Dabangg and Dabangg 2, they would be collaborating again on the music of Dolly Ki Doli. However, from Salman Khan, the focus would now shift towards Sonam Kapoor and hence the music too would have a different flavor to it.

Informs a source, "Sajid-Wajid have a long standing relationship with the Khan brothers. They have done so many films with Salman bhai, right from Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya to now Jai Ho. Meanwhile they have also forged a great relationship with Arbaaz Khan. After all, they gave chartbuster score for his debut production (Dabangg) and then first ever directorial affair (Dabangg 2). There was no debate, discussion or second thoughts about the pair coming on board again."

Though Dolly Ki Doli is an entirely different kind of stage and setting when compared to Arbaaz's earlier films, Sajid-Wajid have been more than kicked to come up with the kind of soundtrack that suits the film's requirement.

The source adds, "Arbaaz's brief is clear; he wants the kind of music that goes entirely with the flow of the narrative. He wants it theme based and yet commercial and entertaining. Aisa nahi ki aisa gaana aa jaaye jo iss film mein nahi toh kisi doosri mein use ho jaaye. No, if there is going to be a song composed for Dolly Ki Doli, it has to cater only to Dolly, and no one else."

Incidentally, this is also the first time ever that Sajid-Wajid are composing for Sonam Kapoor and they have made a promise to create something really special and memorable for her. Meanwhile Arbaaz has put together his core team now for the Sonam starrer that has Pulkit Samrat, Rajkumarr Rao and Varun Sharma as the three male leads.

When contacted, Arbaaz confirmed the developments. "Yes, Sajid-Wajid are composing for Dolly Ki Doli. Obviously the music would be on entirely different lines when compared to my earlier Dabangg films."
