Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan recently opened up about the age gap between him and his wife, Sshura Khan, shedding light on their relationship dynamics and the factors that contribute to its success. In an interview with Indian Express, Arbaaz addressed the topic with candidness and clarity, offering insights into their bond.

Acknowledging the age gap between himself and his wife, Arbaaz emphasized that while Sshura is indeed younger than him, the difference is not as significant as it might seem. He emphasized that his wife is not 16 years old, highlighting her maturity and clarity about life choices. Arbaaz shared, “She knew what she wanted in her life, and I knew what I wanted in my life. We spent a lot of time together in that one year to really see what we expect out of each other, what we want, and how are we looking at our future. Such decisions are not made in a hurry.”

Delving deeper into the topic of age disparity in relationships, Arbaaz expressed a belief that when there is a substantial age gap between partners, marriages often have a higher success rate. He said, “It’s not like we were not aware of it or we hid it from each other. As a girl, she knew what she was getting into, and as a man, I knew what I was getting into. Two people of the same age can be together and probably separate in a year. So, is age the only factor that keeps relationships going? Ask yourself. In fact, whenever you see there is a very big age gap between marriages, they have far higher success rate.”

For the unversed, Arbaaz Khan tied the knot with Sshura Khan in a private wedding ceremony on December 24 last year, held at Arpita Khan's residence in Mumbai. The intimate event was graced by immediate family members and industry friends, including Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, and Varun Sharma, among others. Arbaaz was previously married to Malaika Arora for nearly two decades before their divorce in 2017, with whom he shares a son, Arhaan Khan.
