On Tuesday, television actress Aditi Sharma, who currently plays the titular role in the Colors’ show Apollena, faced infidelity allegations from her husband. The actress’ was reportedly in a secret marriage with her live-in partner Abhineet Kaushik for the past four months but the latter has now decided to divorce her after accusing her of cheating with her Colors show co-star Samarthya Gupta. The latter, who plays her reel life husband, has reacted to these allegations and have showcased support towards his co-star.
Samarthya Gupta reveals that the affair allegations impacted his family
Speaking about the issue, Samarthya insisted that these reports have majorly affected him and his family, especially his father who is suffering from certain health issues. Talking to Times of India, the Apollena actor said, "I have come to my hometown, and I’m not a very socially active person. My mumma showed me this news. We, as a family, have been mentally shattered a lot since morning because my father is also going through a health condition. He had a brain stroke two years back. So, you know, already there are so many challenges in our family."
“After listening to this story, even I got shattered, and I'm a person who doesn't allow much to affect me because these are very trivial things. But when something affects your family, it does take a toll. These are wrong allegations.” Furthermore, Kaushik, in an India Forums report, also asserted that he caught Aditi and Samarthya red-handed. Further responding to the statement, Samarthya added, “We've never been caught, the way he is claiming. We are working professionals. We are actors”.
Actor insists that Abhineet misunderstood their friendship
"We are good friends, and we are always going to be good friends. And secondly, as a professional, when you work together 24/7, you become a family. It’s not just with her, it’s the same with the actor playing my father or elder brother," he maintained speaking about his off-screen bond with Sharma.

Furthermore, Samarthya also insisted that Aditi has broken down on the sets of the show often due to certain arguments with her partner. He recalled an incident where he barged into the actor’s green room. “He entered my cosmetics room without permission. And you can even see that this is completely inaccurate. He approached me intending to converse, but I was in no mood to do so because I was mentally drained. He said, 'I'm her husband.' 'Great, mujhe pata nahi tha.' I'm not very aware of that. I said, 'Good, we're just friends.' As a human, if you see someone upset, you will naturally approach them and enquire what is wrong,” the actor stated.
He has also revealed that Abhineet, in the past, have also disrespected Aditi Sharma’s family members. Despite the major rumours surrounding her life, Aditi Sharma is yet to react to the allegations or the news of her divorce with Kaushik.
