A report from Hindustan Times suggested that Virat and Anushka are anticipating the arrival of their second child, following the joyous addition of Vamika to their family. There are indications that Anushka Sharma may currently be in her second trimester, hinting at an imminent expansion of their family circle. Notably, the couple has chosen to keep this heartwarming news under wraps for the time being. According to sources, the couple plans to officially announce this exciting news to the world at a later stage, much like their approach during their first pregnancy journey. The news portal quoted a source saying, “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage.” The report further quoted another source mentioning, “They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon.”

On the work front, Anushka Sharma surprised her fans with cameo in Qala. The actress is now gearing up for the release of Chakda Xpress. The film will see her play the lead role of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. It will release on Netflix in 2023. Backed by her brother Karnesh Sharma's production house Clean Slate Filmz, the film also stars Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee and Babil Khan.
