After husband Raj Kundra got arrested a month ago in porn apps case, Shilpa Shetty is maintaining distance from any kind of public appearance. She has been away from reality Show Super Dancer 4, where she stars as judge. The team and co-judges of the Show expressed how everyone is missing Shilpa dearly as she had become family to them, as Director- judge Anurag Basu told a print publication.

The filmmaker addressed how they miss Shilpa a lot on set.He shared how the staff of the show and the people involved on-screen as well as behind the screen shares a special bond among them. He termed the Super Dancer team as a small family, and how the absence of a single member affects them all. He Futher added that that how it becomes difficult when Shilpa is not around as she is very dear to the whole family of Super Dancer.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty made her first public appearance on Sunday on occasion of Independence Day. She was a part of a Covid-19 fundraiser, We for India. In the event, she spoke about the importance of breathing exercise and yoga in everyday life to keep mind and body healthy and away from negativity.

Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra is currently in judicial custody, for his alleged role in creating and distributing adult content via mobile apps. While Shilpa and her family had to go through distress because of media's invasion in her privacy, she refused to comment on the case and told the media not to make unwanted rumors and let the law decide. She said that there have been a lot of rumors and accusations and unwarranted aspersions not only on her but her family as well, casted by the media and (not so) well-wishers as well. She further added that she and her family don’t deserve a media trial.

Following the controversial case, where Shilpa was last featured in Hungama 2, the 46-year old actress had to give up some of her upcoming projects.
