While rumours have been doing the rounds for quite some time about producers Rajan Shahi and channel Star Plus are keen on introducing a fresh track to keep the plotline interesting and intriguing, the makers have finally lifted curtain on the suspense asserting that are indeed introducing a major leap on the show. Not just that the Star Plus show will also be introducing new protagonists which includes web-series star Alisha Parveen and Shivam Khajuria – who recently played Rohit in another Rajan Shahi show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

While Rupali Ganguly continue essaying the titular role as Anupama, the additions in the show, namely Alisha Parveen and Shivam Khajuria will be essaying the character of Aadhya and Prem, Aadhya's love interest, respectively. The makers have piqued the interest of audience by dropping an intriguing promo for the show, which highlights the new journey of Anupama, who is donning a different look and runs her business, Anu Ki Rasoi.

In the short clip, Anupama is seen reminiscing about her family and desires to meet her daughter Aadhya. On the other hand, Aadhya has now become a tour guide, and this is the time when Aadhya encounters Prem for the first time at a temple, where he is mesmerized by Aadhya. Aadhya is contemplating the intricacies of relationships and is away from her mother's world. Will the efforts of this new stranger bring the mother and daughter to mend their relationship? Will the quest of a mother to find her daughter be fulfilled? The teaser, however, refrains from divulging details about the relationship between the beloved telly couple Anupama and Anuj aka Gaurav Khanna.
