Actress Anita Hassanandani is all set to appear on Zee TV’s upcoming reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, but the preparations haven’t been all glitz and glam for the doting mother. Known for her close-knit bond with her young son Aarav, Anita got emotional while revealing the heartfelt efforts she’s made to ensure his routine runs smoothly in her absence.
Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon features a dynamic lineup of female celebrities—Krishna Shroff, Aishwarya Khare, Rameet Sandhu, Anjuum Faakih, Reha Sukheja, Dolly Javed, Sumukhi Suresh, Surabhi–Samriddhi Mehra, and Erika Packard—who will swap their city lives for a rustic, village-style living experience over the course of nearly two months.
While other contestants are busy prepping bags and bracing for physical challenges, Anita’s real preparation began at home. Her focus? Easing Aarav into a new routine that doesn’t revolve around her.
"From the moment I wake up, Aarav is by my side. He wants me to do everything for him, but since I’ll be away, I’ve been training him for the past two weeks to sleep with my mom," Anita shared, clearly holding back tears. "I’ve slowly been preparing him to manage without me being around, from waking up and getting ready for school to finishing his meals and homework on time."
The actress has even drawn up a meticulous two-month schedule to help her husband Rohit Reddy manage their son's daily activities. "I’ve added Rohit to all the groups so he can seamlessly take over. As much as I’m going to learn from this show, I think Rohit will also realise just how beautifully challenging motherhood truly is," she added.
Fans are applauding Anita not just for embracing this new adventure, but for the thoughtful way she’s handled the transition at home. With emotions running high, viewers are now even more eager to catch her journey unfold on-screen.
Chhoriyan Chali Gaon premieres on August 3 at 9 pm, and will air daily at 9:30 pm, only on Zee TV.
