Anek: Suniel Shetty appreciates the trailer of the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer : Bollywood News

Known for his unconventional choice of films, Ayushmann Khurrana has once again left everyone surprised with his upcoming film Anek. The film traces the journey of the ignored states of India, the North-East as Ayushmann plays the man who tries to bring the issues of the states to the forefront. The film’s hard-hitting trailer garnered a lot of appreciation, not just from netizens but also B-town celebrities and Suniel Shetty is one of them.

The veteran actor, who has been a part of many action entertainers, took to social media to talk about the film. Appreciating the trailer of Anek, Suniel Shetty said, “Never ‘Ek’ always #Anek. After Article 15, Ayushmann Khurrana will once again be seen in the role of a cop, albeit an undercover cop in Anek. The political action thriller has been shot extensively in some picturesque locations in the North-East. The film traces the journey of a rather ignored section of India, North-East and brings forth the stereotypes associated with them as well as the political unrest people face in these states time and again. The hard-hitting trailer, that was released last week, seems to have had a strong impact.

Anek also stars Manoj Pahwa, J.D. Chakravarti, Kumud Mishra, Andrea Kevichusa amongst others. The film, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is slated to release on May 27, 2022.
