Actor Ananya Panday will soon be seen in Liger which is directed by Puri Jagannadh. While the film will mark the actress' first Pan-India film, it will also mark her debut in regional cinema.

On Puri Jagannadh's birthday today, Ananya took to her Instagram story to wish the director. Sharing a picture with the filmamker, she wrote, "Happy birthday to the most special, master creator Puri Sir. So blessed to be working with you on Liger, can't wait to get back to the madness.”

Currently, the film’s shooting is happening in Goa and Ananya will join the team in the next schedule which will be shot at international locations. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu in important roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress has a heavy kitty with three big-budget films. She has Liger alongside Vijay Deverakonda, an untitled film helmed by Shakun Batra alongside Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi and a recent addition to it was Kho Gaye Hum Kahan alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
