Veteran actress Amrita Singh celebrates her birthday today. It’s a landmark birthday for her this time as she turns 65. Apart from her fans and admirers, she also received a sweet wish from her daughter and actress Sara Ali Khan.

The young Bollywood star shared a couple of candid pictures with her mother on Instagram where the love between the two is clearly visible. Apart from their pleasant appearance, the exotic royal location near a lake is unmissable.

Sara captioned the post, “Happiest Birthday to my whole world. Thank you for always being my rock (sometimes by cushion), my moral compass, my mirror (pun intended) and my aspiration. #strength #inspiration #purpose #number1.”

Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan are Sara’s parents. The Simmba actress has been living alone with Amrita after the latter’s divorce with Saif. The two had married in 1991 but parted ways in 2004. Saif then got married to Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012. The two are now parents to two sons Taimur and Jehangir.

On the work front, Sara’s last two movies, Coolie No. 1 and Atrangi Re, were released online. She recently signed Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, which is the second movie in the franchise after the 2007 flick Life In A Metro. On the other hand, Amrita Singh was last seen as Tiger Shroff’s mother in Heropanti 2 last year.
