Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Nanda says pandemic has disproportionately impacted women

Navya shared a report by an international publication detailing the effects of pandemic by sharing her thoughts on gender inequality. "This pandemic has disproportionately impacted women. Especially working women! ESPECIALLY Indian women. Making gender equality a very very distant dream."

Navya has been working towards women empowerment in India. She has also launched Project Naveli. "Through Project Naveli, I hope to bridge the gender gap in India by providing women with access to resources and opportunities that will allow for economic and social empowerment," she had said.
