While internet has rarely been kind to celebrities, Amitabh Bachchan is one of the few celebrities who have more often than not witnessed the kindness of social media. While the netizens have showered immense love on this Indian megastar, the latter too has reciprocated by constantly sharing videos and posts. In fact, recently, the superstar decided to even share an apology video when he mispronounced a word in Marathi.

It is a known fact that Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t belong to the Marathi community, but he attempted to speak in the language, taking cue from the years he has spent in the Maharashtra capital, Mumbai. However, it seems that he mispronounced a word in the video. Even though netizens were kind enough to appreciate the actor for his attempt, he decided to correct himself and the attempt seems to have definitely won hearts among social media users.

In the recent video, Amitabh Bachchan issued a clarification that in the earlier video he mispronounced the Marathi word ‘Kachra’ (Garbage) and hence decided to recreate the whole thing. He also mentioned how his close friend Sudesh Bhosle had pointed out the mistake. Apart from the video, he also apologized in the caption where he wrote, “Had done a video where pronunciation was wrong .. so corrected it .. Apologies (folded hands emoji)”
