“Amitabh Bachchan scolded me like a teacher,” says Abhishek Banerjee; recalls working with him in Section 84 84 : Bollywood News

Casting director turned actor Abhishek Banerjee has emerged as one of the most versatile actors in the Indian Film Industry due to his ability to effortlessly portray a wide range of characters across various genres. Abhishek Banerjee has recently been shooting for Section 84 with Amitabh Bacchan, he clearly stated that Mr Bacchan as the living Masterclass of Acting. He says " I never went to acting school. So, for me, Mr Bachchan is my Dronacharya. Just being around him showed me that no matter how big a star you become, you need to stick to the basics. He is always rehearsing his lines with so much excitement.

Abhishek also admits that Amitabh Bachchan scolded him. He said "When I tried to touch his feet, he scolded me like a teacher and said not to do that. I was really worried about the fact that it ruined a good thing before it began. I asked him the reason and he said that he wants to be equal. Some might think this is a pretence, but as an actor, I can see that beyond the stardom, he is an actor from the core who wants to be respectful to his co-actors"

The actor will be next seen in Stree 2, Vedaa and The Stolen.
