Throughout the years, it has become a customary practice for Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan to make an appearance and greet the assembled fans outside his residence, Jalsa, in Mumbai. Recently, the actor posted a video on Monday, showcasing his recent encounter with fans outside Jalsa, and mentioned how he has been doing so consistently every Sunday since 1982.
On Sunday, Bachchan took to his Instagram and shared a video that captured the moment when Amitabh Bachchan acknowledged the large crowd of fans eagerly waiting outside Jalsa. He showcased his gratitude by folding his hands and smiling while greeting them. Additionally, the footage captured the heartfelt reactions of certain fans who became emotional and shed tears after meeting the renowned actor. Sharing the video, the actor wrote in caption, “My gracious love .. ever .. for your affection !
Every Sunday since 1982 .. !!!”

As soon as he shared the post, several fans and industry friends showered their love for the actor in the comments section. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Bipasha Basu and several other actors reacted. A fan wrote, “Bollywood ka Badshah, Sehensah,King, Gurudev, Bigg B Amitabh Bachchan,” while another user commented, “Mahanayak Legend Shree Amitabh Bachchan Sahab..! Greatest person ever.”
On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai last year, which also starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra. He has Project K helmed by Nag Ashwin. It's a sci-fi film that also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film is simultaneously being shot in Hindi and Telugu. Bachchan will also soon feature in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84.
