Alia Bhatt fans are left shocked and concerned after her new deepfake video went viral on social media today. Alia is seen in the edited video participating in the GRWM (Get Ready With Me) craze. A person named Sameeksha Avtr published the video on Instagram, and it has already received over 17 million views.

The alarming trend of deepfake technology has raised significant concerns among fans and digital security experts alike, highlighting the urgent need for robust measures to combat this evolving threat.

This is a 'GRWM (Get Ready With me)' video from a user called Sameeksha Avtr. After the fans saw the video, they dropped comments showing their concern for the same. A user said, "I thought it's Alia, then I watched carefully, and she is not Alia." Another user said, "AI is very dangerous." A person said, "What the hell? Musk was right. Al is winning everything for real."

Previously, a deepfake video of Alia had appeared online, with her face transformed onto the body of actress Wamiqa Gabbi.

Aamir Khan's deepfake video advocating a political party had also gone popular some time back. After the video went viral, Khan's office filed an FIR with the Khar Police Station under pertinent parts of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), such as 419 (Impersonation), 420 (cheating), and other sections of the Information Technology Act.

Prior to this, Ranveer Singh's deepfake video had become viral, in which the actor was seen criticising the administration and asking people to vote for “Nayay (justice)” in the Lok Sabha elections. However, it was eventually revealed that the viral video was altered and modified.
