Alia Bhatt shares solo pictures from her wedding day; poses with her cat, Edward : Bollywood News

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14 at Ranbir’s residence in Mumbai. The couple married in a private ceremony with just their relatives and close friends in attendance. Soon after Alia announced the wedding on Instagram, the Kapoor and Bhatt families began sharing behind-the-scenes photographs from the event.

On Saturday, Alia dropped a couple of solo pictures of her as a bride. In the first picture, she is seen posing with her pet cat Edward in her arms. In the other two pictures, a happy Alia is seen posing for the camera in her gorgeous bridal wear. "Cat of honour," Alia captioned the post.

Alia opted for a Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree instead of the traditional red lehenga for her wedding day. She wore a white organza saree with lovely tilla work on a white base with gold embroidery. Natural motifs such as butterflies and flowers were highlighted in the needlework. Gold sequins were used to adorn the saree's borders.

The actress wore matching jhumka earrings, bangles, and maathapatti from the same designer, which included a hefty necklace with uncut diamonds, as well as matching jhumka earrings, bangles, and maathapatti. Alia opted for a beautiful complexion, bare lips, flushed cheeks, light coral eye-shadow, little mehendi, red bindi, and her million-dollar grin with her hair left open, with her make-up maintained to a bare minimum.

Meanwhile, both Alia and Ranbir resumed work soon after their wedding festivities concluded. While Ranbir flew to Himachal Pradesh to begin shooting for Animal, Alia flew to Rajasthan for the shoot of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
