Alia Bhatt recently couldn’t stop gushing about Shah Rukh Khan, with whom she shared screen space in Dear Zindagi.

It is a known fact that Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol starrer Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is an iconic romantic film that continues to win hearts of generations. From dialogues to scenes, the film is pretty much etched in the hearts of people, especially the ‘Palat’ scene where SRK asks Kajol to turn around. Recalling the special moment from the YRF romantic drama, Alia Bhatt recently revealed the reason why the scene is special to her, stating that it gives her goosebumps.

In an interview with Allure magazine, Alia Bhatt, who is busy with Jigra promotions, was seen talking about DDLJ and even mentioned a scene that will remain forever in her heart. Remembering the famous ‘Palat’ scene where Shah Rukh Khan’s character Raj waits for Kajol’s character Simran to turn around as a sign of her love for him, Alia said, “Then he’s waiting for her to turn, ‘Palat,’ and then suddenly on cue like she turns, and then the music just swells, and it's like butterflies, goosebumps, everything put together.”

Furthermore, Alia Bhatt also insisted how many women have often dreamed of having such beautiful moments in their real-life. “But I think every girl has wanted that sort of recreation in her life where you look back and there's a guy looking at you or he’s waiting for you to look at him,” she added.

For the unversed, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge marked the debut of Aditya Chopra as the director with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles and released in 1995. The film is considered to be the longest running film of Hindi cinema as it continues to run in Maratha Mandir cinema hall in Mumbai till today.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of Jigra which also stars Vedang Raina. The film, directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by the actress along with Karan Johar, will release on October 11. Along with that, the actress also has the YRF film Alpha with Sharvari as well as Love & War with husband Ranbir Kapoor, co-starring Vicky Kaushal, in the pipeline.
