Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are preparing for an exciting new chapter as they move into their newly constructed bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple, who currently reside in an apartment in the same area with their daughter Raha, have been eagerly monitoring the progress of their new home. According to a report from Hindustan Times, the move is expected to take place in the next two to three months.

An insider revealed, “The ongoing work on their bungalow is almost done, with the finishing going on, which should take one month or so. After the work is done and they get a green signal, the couple will move into the place. It is the moment they have been looking forward to.” The source also mentioned that the family plans to celebrate Diwali in their new home this year, making it a special occasion for them.

The construction of the bungalow has been a personal project for the Kapoor family, with Alia, Ranbir, and his mother Neetu Kapoor frequently visiting the site to oversee the progress. “The bungalow holds an emotional significance to the family, which is why everyone is so involved in the construction. Ranbir and Alia have made sure they take out time from their busy schedule and check the work status,” shared the insider, noting that Alia is particularly focused on the interior decor.

Moving into the new home with Raha is especially meaningful for the couple. “They are excited about this new chapter of their life in the new house with their little one. Stepping into the house with Raha will be a special memory for everyone for sure. It is the house where Ranbir grew up. Now, Ranbir as well as Alia wants to see Raha grow up in the same place with all the memories surrounding her,” said the source. The bungalow, named Krishna Raj after Ranbir’s grandmother, has a deep emotional connection to the Kapoor family, having originally belonged to Ranbir's grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj.
