Representing Indian craftsmanship with a contemporary edge, Alia stepped out in a custom couture ensemble by Tarun Tahiliani that beautifully merged the timeless elegance of a saree with the sharp structure of modern couture.
The ivory-toned outfit stood out for its unique saree-gown silhouette, where classical Indian draping met architectural tailoring. The ensemble featured intricate tonal embroidery spread delicately across the fabric, with floral motifs adding texture and depth without overpowering the look. The craftsmanship remained subtle yet detailed, allowing the silhouette and styling to take centre stage.
One of the defining elements of the outfit was the structured corseted bodice. Designed with a deep sweetheart neckline and a plunging centre detail, the corset brought a sculpted and contemporary feel to the otherwise fluid ensemble. The sharp tailoring of the bodice created a beautiful contrast against the soft drape of the saree-inspired silhouette, balancing femininity with strength.
