Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actor has been busy promoting the keenly awaited film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Last week, the film had its premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival and it opened to an overwhelming response.
Alia Bhatt is leaving no stone unturned to make her film a success and has been extensively promoting the film across the country. After promoting the film in Mumbai with interviews with the media and collaborating with social media influencers for quirky content, the actress recently headed to Kolkata to meet fans. On Tuesday, three days before the theatrical release of the film, the actress headed to Delhi for the last leg of promotions of the film.
On Tuesday morning, Alia Bhatt did her iconic namaste pose as Gangubai and posed in front of a red vintage Rolls Royce. Dressed in a white saree, Alia looked stunning in the pictures.
For the Delhi promotions, Alia opted for a sheer plain white saree paired with a polka dot blouse. She left her hair open and opted for subtle make-up.
Gangubai Kathiawadi documents the rise of its eponymous sex worker to one of the most powerful madams of the infamous Mumbai red-light district, Kamathipura. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), the film is all set to release theatrically on 25th February 2022. The film marks the debut of Shantanu Maheshwari and also stars Ajay Devgn in a special appearance.
