Ever since her marriage to her pregnancy, the life of Alia Bhatt has garnered a lot of attention. After being married to Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022, the actress gave birth to their daughter in November 2022. Along with enjoying her motherhood for the six months, the actress has dived into work by completing the impending shoot of her films, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone as well as making her mark with appearances like the recent MET Gala in USA.

Alia Bhatt has been balancing her work-life and personal life just like her husband Ranbir Kapoor. In an interview with Harper Bazaar, she responded to the questions of becoming a mother at the peak of her career, wherein she asserted that no one would have quizzed a man about his decision of becoming a father during the peak of his career. She said, “You would never ask a man a question about whether having a baby at the peak of his career was a brave decision. I’m being asked, ‘Are you willing to cut your pace down because you’re having a family?’ But to me, that’s okay. Maybe after working for 10 years at a certain pace, I felt that, okay, maybe I can cut that down and be a mum.”

She went on to add that her decision of becoming a mother was purely because she felt it was ‘right’ for her. “I feel like it was very much led by love. I’ve always been that person who just does things with love. Whatever decision I make, if it feels right, I’ll do it. But if it doesn’t feel right, you’ll always see me taking 16 steps back. I could be offered the biggest movie, the biggest team, but if it doesn’t feel right, I wouldn’t be able to take that step forward. So [having a baby] was just purely nominated by that. And I don’t even think there was a question. It was just a very happy, natural decision,” she added.

On the Bollywood front, Alia Bhatt will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh in her second Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The actress is also making her big Hollywood debut alongside Hollywood actress Gal Gadot in Heart of Stone.
