Actor Alfia Jafry has shared a post on social media marking her first acting project, TVF’s upcoming comedy-drama series The Pyramid Scheme. It is set to premiere on Prime Video on June 5, 2026.
In her post, Jafry credited TVF founder Arunabh Kumar for his support during the shoot, describing him as a source of guidance as she stepped in front of the camera for the first time.
“Still feels strange saying this out loud, but my first acting project is with The Viral Fever. I grew up watching their stories, like so many of us did, and always admired how their writing and storytelling connected so effortlessly across audiences and generations. So getting to start my acting journey with one of the most loved and premium studios in India is honestly the kind of beginning every actor would dream of, and it feels incredibly special. The best part is that this is just the first of many collaborations I’m about to have with TVF. While stepping into something so new, there were nerves, awkwardness, excitement… all of it. But I’m really thankful to Arunabh Kumar for having my back and being my guiding light before stepping in front of the camera. I would’ve been lost and confused without Arunabh sir, through all highs and lows you were there. A lot of learning, a lot of firsts, and a lot of memories attached to this one. A special thank you to Vijay Koshy for the faith and encouragement throughout this journey. And working with Shreyansh Pandey and Ashish R. Shukla has been such a wonderful experience and a huge learning for me,” wrote Jafry.
The Pyramid Scheme is directed by Ashish R. Shukla and Shreyansh Pandey. The series features Paramvir Singh Cheema, Ranvir Shorey, Shekhar Suman, Aanjjan Srivastav, Alfia Jafry, and Ashish Raghava in key roles.
The series premieres on Prime Video on June 5, 2026.
