Alaya F reveals she was on Tinder in 2016; doesn’t use dating apps anymore: ‘I don’t think it is feasible for me now’ 2016 : Bollywood News

Bollywood actress Alaya F, daughter of Pooja Bedi and granddaughter of Kabir Bedi, made her debut in 2020 with Jawaani Janeman. The actress starred alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. Since her debut, Alaya F is frequent on social media and been very candid about her life with her followers. While she is open about most of her life, she has been rumoured to be dating Aishwarya Thackeray but never confirmed the speculations. In a recent conversation with a magazine, though the actress doesn't reveal her relationship status, she does talk about dating apps.

Alaya F reveals she was on Tinder in 2016; doesn’t use dating apps anymore: ‘I don’t think it is feasible for me now’

Speaking to Cosmopolitan India, when asked whether she has ever used a dating app, she said, “I remember using Tinder back in 2016, when I was studying in New York—I was new to the city and didn’t know a lot of people. However, I did not use it as a dating app, per se... I used Tinder to meet new people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. And even though I did not end up dating anyone, I am quite close to some of the people I met through the app.”

When asked is she is using any dating apps currently, she said, “No, because I don’t think it is feasible for me now. When I was in New York, I wasn’t an actor and no-one knew me...it was easier to explore. When I moved back home [Mumbai], I remember I still hadn’t deleted my account on Tinder. But as I had a public Instagram account and I was also an influencer, I started receiving messages from strangers asking me if someone was impersonating me on the dating app. That is when I decided to delete my account.”

On the work front, Alaya F will next star in Freddy with Kartik Aaryan and U-Turn.
