Ajay Devgn is all set for the release of his directorial Runway 34. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan. While the film will be released on April 29 in the theatres, Ajay who is also producing the film had held a special screening in the city for members of the film industry. Those who have watched the film were all praise for every aspect of the film. Now, Akshay Kumar has also praised the film and given his genuine review for the film.

Akshay Kumar who is currently shooting for Sudha Kongara's upcoming film with Radhika Madan, the remake of Soorarai Pottru, took time from his schedule and watched the film. On Thursday, Akshay took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Just watched #Runway34. Bhai @ajaydevgn mazaa aa gaya kasam se. What a thriller, what superb vfx, brilliant acting, and direction. @SrBachchan Sir effortless as always and @Rakulpreet. wish greatest luck to the team. May the film get its due.”

Inspired by true incidents, Runway 34 revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna played by Ajay Devgn, a flying prodigy, whose flight takes a mysterious course after take-off from an international destination. With the thrill of the unknown in the sky, this film showcases Ajay locking horns with the legend of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan; whom he has directed for the first time. The film also features Rakul Preet Singh, as a co-pilot, in a never-seen-before role.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has currently started shooting for the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru. Sudha Kongara who directed the original is also directing the remake. While Akshay will be reprising Suriya’s role, Radhika Madan will be reprising Aparna Balamurali’s role.
