Akshay Kumar on Forgetting Lines and On-Set Improvisations

Recalling one such moment, he shared, "There was this one time during an intense scene, I completely blanked out and ended up saying something completely random. The director yelled, ‘Cut!’ and the entire crew burst out laughing." He went on to explain that sometimes these on-the-spot improvisations work well enough to make it into the final cut of a film.

The actor highlighted his flair for improvisation, particularly in comedy, stating, "I’ve made up lines on the spot in comedy scenes, and they’ve stayed in the final cut, like ‘Miracle! Miracle!’ or ‘Hi Rupa, naha liya?’ It’s all about staying in the moment and having fun with it!"

For fans of Akshay Kumar, these dialogues hold a special place. The famous "Miracle! Miracle!" line was from his 2007 comedy Welcome, while "Hi Rupa, naha liya?" became iconic from Bhagam Bhag (2006).

In the same interview, the actor also opened up his go-to dance move from the 90s’, which was pelvic thrust. He said, “Back then, it was all the rage, and we did it with so much confidence, thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Now, when I look back at it, I can’t help but laugh at how over-the-top it was. It’s one of those moves that should probably stay in the 90s.”

Coming to the professional front, Akshay was last seen in Sky Force. The film also stars Nimrit Kaur, Sara Ali Khan and debutanat Veer Pahariya. Currently, Akshay is gearing up for his next releases for this year, which are Housefull 5 and Welcome To The Jungle.
