Celebrities have expressed shock over the recent incidents in Manipur, and have requested the government to take the strictest action against perpetuators.

Not too long ago, news reports about an incident from Manipur left the nation in shock. Two women from the Koki tribal community were paraded across the streets of the town naked and a video of the same was found online. The painful incident has left many scarred and some celebrities took to social media to express shock over the same and to also vent out regarding the increasing crime against women in the country. They also requested the government to take the strictest action against the criminals and to ensure to give them the highest punishment possible. Among them were stars like Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Richa Chadha, Vivek Agnihotri, Sonu Sood, and many others.
