Ever since the makers of Selfiee released its trailer, a section of moviegoers has been eagerly waiting to see the Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer. The duo is not only sharing the screen for the first time but also pitted against each other. While many celebrities and influencers are promoting the upcoming film on social media by dancing on 'Main Khiladi', Akshay and Emraan impressed Mumbaikars in their unique way as they hopped on a Mumbai metro!

Yes! You read it right. A video of Akshay and Emraan travelling in a metro is making rounds on the internet. In the clip, the duo, along with their team enter a metro with their face masks and sunglasses on. As soon as they remove the mask, commuters can be seen surprised and delighted at the same time. A bunch of them performed the hook step of 'Main Khiladi'.

Later Akshay and Emraan also joined and groove on the track in a moving metro. Before leaving, they also waved at their fans and clicked selfies with Mumbaikars.

Speaking of their upcoming film, the Raj Mehta directorial is a Hindi remake of 2019’s hit Malayalam-language film, Driving Licence starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. Talking about the same during the trailer launch event, Prithviraj, who is also co-producing Selfiee, had said, “As someone who is being very closely associated with developing the original material, I, kinda, of know where it began and where it is with Selfiee today. Full credit to Raj for having seen the original and thinking this film is possible. That requires a lot of talent and to be able to tell a story in a different fashion but still treat the core elements, and still make you feel what the original film made you feel; maybe in an enhanced fashion.”

Besides Akshay and Emraan, it will also feature Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharruccha, along with Mrunal Thakur in a cameo. The film is slated to release on February 24.
