Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, known for her versatile performances in Guilty, Ray, and Monica, O My Darling, is all set to surprise audiences in a completely different avatar in Amazon Prime Video's upcoming series Gram Chikitsalay. The makers officially announced the project today, revealing Akansha’s first look in a de-glam, small-town girl role that stands in sharp contrast to her previous on-screen appearances.

The first-look image shows Akansha riding a scooty, portraying a differnet character for the first time in her career. She plays a compassionate doctor navigating life in a rural setting. Her shift to this down-to-earth role and different from her earlier glamorous roles, showcasing her range as an actor.

Talking about her experience, Akansha shared:"Working on Chikitsalay was a refreshing experience. The story and my character really intrigued me because it’s so different from anything I’ve done before. I even learned to ride a scooty for the first time—it was terrifying at first, but I ended up loving it! Playing a doctor felt like a huge responsibility, and I’m excited for people to see me in this new role."
