This year, Diwali is special for Ajay Devgn who is awaiting the release of his film Thank God that features him the role of heaven’s bookkeeper CG. The film also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles. Not too long ago, the actor also announced the arrival of Drishyam 2 in theatres soon. With much anticipation ahead, Ajay celebrated Diwali with his family including his wife Kajol, and kids Yug and Nysa Devgn.

Last night was all about celebration and fun in B-town as stars celebrated Diwali in their own fun way. For Ajay Devgn, it was all about family this Diwali. The actor took to Instagram to share a glimpse of all the Diwali celebrations and posted a series of fun photos. The first one featured Ajay Devgn in a white dhoti-kurta combination as he twinned with his nephews Aaman and Daanish Gandhi as well as his son Yug. Besides that, the actor also shared a family photo featuring all of them including his wife Kajol, kids Yug and Nysa Devgn.

While fans loved the picture perfect family photos, it was his caption that captured everyone’s attention. It read, “Parampara, Pratishtha, Anushasan.” Moviebuffs will be aware that the caption is an iconic dialogue from the 2000 romantic drama Mohabbatein starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Besides that, Ajay Devgn also posted a video of the Laxmi Puja in his office, AD films. He captioned it saying, “Umeed karta hoon sukh-samridhi ke saath roshan ho sabki deepavali aur sab par bana rahein maa Laxmi ka aashirvaad (I hope that Diwali of all be bright with happiness and prosperity and may Goddess Lakshmi's blessings be upon all. Happy Diwali to all of you).

On the work front, Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Thank God releases today on October 25.
