Ahaan Panday, the assistant director for the recently released Netflix series The Railway Men, has shared a heartfelt note on Instagram reminiscing about his time working on the show. He expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication, and he also reflected on the importance of following one's dreams.

Panday, who worked closely with the cast and crew on the show, said that he was inspired by their dedication and commitment to telling the story of the Bhopal tragedy. He also said that the experience taught him the importance of following one's dreams.

"I clearly remember a day in Bhopal, we were in the summer heat, running around with wet cloths over our faces to keep us from the sun - dehydrated, lightheaded & engulfed in chaos," Panday wrote on Instagram.

"In the midst of this, it hit me, the dichotomy of it all, of artists and of the railwaymen, of how sometimes in life, you need not only work hard, you need not only try to be the best, but all you need to do is to just submit to the greater good and let life take you where it needs to take you."

Panday also said that he was grateful for the opportunity to work on The Railway Men. He said that the show was a powerful exploration of the human spirit and that he was proud to be a part of it.

The four-part mini-series, helmed by Shiv Rawail, is based on the true story of the Bhopal gas tragedy, which occurred in 1984 and killed thousands of people. The show tells the story of a group of railway workers who risked their lives to save others during the disaster. The Railway Men is now streaming on Netflix.
