en Bollywood News From Agneepath to War: Hrithik Roshan’s Top 5 all-time biggest hits

In the wake of Hrithik Roshan's latest release Fighter, we look back at his 5 all-time biggest hits.

Hrithik Roshan arrived at the scene with a bang as he became an overnight star right after the release of his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai in 2000. The actor has, over the years, consistently maintained his image as one of the biggest names from Bollywood. He is in the news currently for his latest release Fighter, which sees him opposite Deepika Padukone for the first time. Unfortunately, the film hasn’t lived up to the expectations at the box office.

From Agneepath to War: Hrithik Roshan’s Top 5 all-time biggest hits

However, Hrithik still continues to be a name to reckon with because of a number of successful films he has had in his 24-year-old career. Here’s looking at the Top 5 hits from his filmography.

War (2019)

This Siddharth Anand directed action-packed film tops the list with a massive collection of Rs 318.01 crores, setting a benchmark in Hrithik's career as part of the YRF Spy Universe. The film saw him star alongside Tiger Shroff and the two literally set the screen on fire. War continues to be the biggest hit of Hrithik and Tiger’s career.

Krrish 3 (2013)

A sequel in the popular Krrish, it amassed Rs 244.92 crores, combining superhero action with emotional drama. Like the previous film, Krrish 3 also succeeded in providing high doses of family entertainment and, more importantly, proved to be a worthy successor to the previous two films in the series Koi Mill Gaya and Krrish.

Bang Bang (2014)

A remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day, this action-comedy alongside Katrina Kaif earned Rs 181.03 crores, praised for its thrilling sequences and chemistry between the leads. Bang Bang was the first time Siddharth Anand tried his hand at action and he had a good start.

Super 30 (2019)

In this biographical drama, Hrithik played the role of mathematician Anand Kumar, grossing Rs 146.94 crores. The film, which was directed by Vikas Bahl, was lauded for its inspiring storyline and Hrithik's transformation. In fact, the actor completely transformed himself as a man from a poor background, not just in terms of looks but also performance.

Agneepath (2012)

This remake of the classic Bollywood film of the same name saw Hrithik stepping into the shoes of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan, with the film earning Rs 115 crores. It was appreciated for its intense narrative and performances.

These films highlight Hrithik's ability to seamlessly transition between genres, from high-octane action to emotive drama, solidifying his status as one of Bollywood's most bankable stars.
