Amid the pandemic and with cinemas still closed in the country in many states at the time, Dharma Productions took the call for direct-to-digital release and the audiences were thrilled to witness the story of Captain Vikram Batra. It had become the most-watched 2021 movie on Amazon Prime Video in India. Now, as 2022 has begun, all eyes are on Gehraiyaan starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa.

The film is about the complexities of life, relationships, love, friendship, and betrayal. While the teaser and the trailer were received well by the audiences, its songs have been chartbusters already. Both 'Doobey' and 'Gehraiyaan' title tracks have been trending on Instagram reels ever since they were released. As the story dives into the infidelity in modern relationships, it has piqued interest. With a story that revolves around just four people and their emotions and vulnerabilities, capturing it on camera without being monotonous might have been a tough task. With over a week left for the film to arrive on the streaming platform, there's definitely a lot of excitement among the fans.

Alongside Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the film also features Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa as leads along with Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions in association with director Shakun Batra’s Jouska Films, the movie will have its World Premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
