Bollywood actor Aditya Kapur will be seen portraying a double role in his upcoming film Gumraah alongside Mrunal Thakur. In an interview with ETimes, the movie's leading actors shared amusing stories about earlier roles.

The two discussed their respective on-set embarrassing experiences. On one occasion, Aditya simply couldn't help yawning while filming, and Mrunal began keeping track of how often he yawned. They were also questioned regarding their very first project for the camera.

Aditya remembered that Katrina Kaif appeared in his very first production, a commercial. He was one of the ten lads that spent the entire day waiting for Katrina. In reference to that, he said, “I waited for her all day. I'm not saying she was late, but maybe that was the call time she was given.”

Aditya and Mrunal are gearing up for Gumraah. The film is inspired by the Tamil film Thadam. Helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar, the film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios. It is slated to release in cinemas on April 7, 2023.

Aditya was last seen in The Night Manager alongside Anil Kapoor which is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Apart from Gumraah, Aditya will also be next seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino with an ensemble cast.

Mrunal was last seen in Sita Ramam with Dulquer Salmaan. She also had a cameo in Akshay Kumar starrer Selfiee. She was seen shaking a leg with Akshay in the song ‘Kudiye Ni Teri’. She will also be seen in Pippa opposite Ishan Khatter. Mrunal also has Pooja Mera Naam and the Telugu film with Nani.
